I was getting help from someone for general mod stuff, usually nothing very fancy or difficult, but he/she appears to have forgotten about me xD, and im still quite untrained in the art of coding

Would like to know if theres anyone out there i can add to discord that wouldnt mind sometimes helping me with what will almost always be fairly simple stuff (Like getting a worm entities body segments to not all shoot at once, or adding basic stat bonuses to gear, or making accessories since every...

I'd like a mod that adds a chance to drop Life Crystals/Life Fruits to vanilla boss's loot bags at appropriate stages of the game.

The numbers I was thinking of were:
25% Life Crystal from Eye of Cthulhu
50% Life Crystal from the World Evil bosses (Brain/Eater)
75% Life Crystal from Skeletron
100% Life Crystal from Wall of Flesh

25% Life Fruit from Plantera
50% Life Fruit from Golem
100% Life Fruit from Lunatic Cultist

The reason I'm wanting such a mod is because I'm planning to set up a...

I'm planning to create new cool weapons for Terraria, but not somewhere near future. I need to see if people would like these ideas. And plus, there might be mods contains similiar stuff to my ideas, i'll be only focusing on weapons, no mobs/bosses/mines etc(only 1 npc). and will create unique animations and mechanics.

First, i have blood magic. Its a different kind of weaponry to sorcerer class. Blood magic weapons contains stronger effects compared to the other weapons on its tier, but it...

Need Sprite and Tile for Delta Ore

So if anyone would be kind enough to sprite me a ore (which is red yellow and blue) and ake a tile 4 it, that would be awesome. I dont get how to do it, so if someone could do it 4 me that would be great! Ill credit you too! :D

Hi,
I'm making my first mod, it mostly consists of weapons with projectiles. I'm able to make basic projectile with custom sprite and animation. This is my first time modding so I learn from guides and youtube tutorials.
Recently, I hit blunt. I wanted to make a sword similar to the vanilla "Flying Dragon". So I went and make the sprite for the weapon. I also made the projectile based of the Vanilla "Hearty Slash" projectile, It is basically shaped as a White crescent moon, which leads me to...

Just asking if there is a mod to stop the spread of those biomes also if there is a way someone could create a mod to get rid of the chest 1000 limit that would be great too can't use Tshock with the current modloader and Tshock has no version for 1.3.5.2. First time posting sorry if this is not in the right area or anything like that.

Hello all!
I have been modding for a decent while now, and was wondering if anybody could help me with this. I wanted to have a weapon with a delay, AKA, it does not fire for a second, and then starts firing. Could anyone help? Thanks!

Around The World yoyo effect?

For my first mod, I'm looking to make a yoyo-like weapon that doesn't chase the cursor... instead, it just stays out as long as you hold the button and spins around the player at max range. The best way I can think of to do this would be to cross yoyos with basic melee... I need the projectile to extend to max range at the end of its non-damaging string, then spin a full 360 melee arc and just autofire that 360 arc.

Is this possible? Is there a way to change the range a melee weapon's swing...

How to Downgrade Back to 1.3.4.4

It looks like it could be a while until tModLoader updates to support 1.3.5. I know there's a patch available, but it only works on Windows at the moment. In the meantime, if anyone wants to download 1.3.4.4 again, you can get it through Steam. You just need to use the steam console. I've only tried this on Linux, so I can't guarantee it'll work on others. I see no reason why it wouldn't though.

Step 1: Close Steam if it's running.

Step 2: Launch Steam with the "-console" flag....

I have the following mods installed:

auto trash 0.1.2
helpful hotkeys 1.5.4
where's my items 0.2.1
better buffs 1.0.3.1
colored damage types 1.1.1
recipe browser 0.2.1

Mostly they're working fine, but none of the hotkeys are responding (both single and multiplayer). Am I doing something wrong?
